Benefit Cosmetics, 3D BrowTones Color Extension Launch

Campaign Overview:

Multi-Colored Brow Gel, for your summer festival look. Get your brows Festival Ready.

To launch this playful new product extension, Benefit collaborated with Revolve at a private Coachella event. I designed the look and feel for this launch day and the surrounding campaign, including a product "send" and supporting event collateral.


Objective:

Create a playful and fun look and feel that conveys summer, fun, music and festival vibes while staying true to Benefit's brand ID.


Pattern Design:

I wanted to create a print that would be youthful and playful. I was inspired by the psychedelic "flower child" from woodstock, but made sure to keep it modern, sharp and bold using flat, geometric shapes so as not to appear too soft or vintage.

 

Enamel Pin Design:

In order to make our branding relevant we wanted to make sure our influencers would continue to support our brand beyond the actual event and into the festival afterwards for maximum exposure. We sent our influencers super fun holographic fanny packs with our product in it that could be worn throughout the day, and decorated them with very trendy enamel lapel pins that could be removed and added to any denim jacket or even a pair of shorts.
