SAN FRANCISCO resident, hailing from Kansas City, by way of New Orleans where I studied Graphic Design and Visual Communication. My natural artistic ability mixed with informed design awareness and education — along with a determined work ethic, tedious attention to detail and a passion for creative problem-solving — come together to produce uniquely creative and responsible design solutions.

MY PASSION is turning beautiful design and typographic-based art into a tactical experience. In this web-based culture we live in, my goal is to get the beauty off the screen and into the client's hands in order to fully complete the intended design experience. I have extensive experience working in pre-press and maintain strong relations with local printers here in San Francisco.

I EVENTUALLY am looking to expand my freelance design career to a small letterpress business. I have a strong knowledge and appreciation of the history of letterpress and take the opportunity to work with the Vandercook cylinder press as well as a tabletop platen press at San Francisco Center for The Book as often as possible. I am currently training to teach letterpress classes at Rock Paper Scissors Art Collective in Oakland.

And here are my all time favorite books. Life-changing, really. (And their prettiest cover designs I've curated on Pinterest, obviously).
