The client wanted a logo that was clean and simple, that would convey motion and also reflect the spirit of the Southwest. They also wanted it to be simultaneously suitable for stamping on freights as well as on stationary, and for the logo to be recognizable with or without the name shown.

Poster design inspired by my first pride in SF when DOMA was struck down. The colored stars in this design represent each state that had legalized gay marriage at that point in 2013. Proud that just 2 years later — (almost to the date) — it's in need of a re-design following the historic Supreme Court ruling for marriage equality nation-wide, and that they can finally all be colored in.
