The Algonquin, C1

(Lead Designer, 2018-2019) Ken Fulk, Inc. was tasked with rebranding an iconic Boston staple, The Algonquin Club, founded in 1886. The client wanted a fresh new feel to reflect the new interiors, while still honoring its history.

The main logo for Concept 1 of this pitch was pulled from our original sketches. When told they liked this direction, but wanted to see it more modernized, we took this opportunity to pull from the deco vibes of the new interiors, exaggerating the O’s and fast forwarding through the decades just a bit, taking a note from Lubalin, to make our statement “A”.
